Well folks, it is my sad duty to mix a little bad news in with the good this time!

The good eggs is that a fresh gallery awaits within "Wings and Things" and contains a good look at "King" Louis, a mature Peregrine worthy of respect! Once again I thank Julian of Abee Pest Control for his apparently inexhaustible enthusiasm, knowledge and patience.

The bad apples is simply that my time in my current studio has been brought to an end by economic forces! It has been a wonderful period of productivity here in the Rooky Wood - made possible by the very fine actions of Mr Grant Peters who has allowed me to use a room above his shop here in Bath in which to create most of the lovely things that you can see on this site! But all good (and particularly rent-free!!) dreams must come to an end, and so it is with this one.

But fear not! An old soul doesn't get so deep into the forest without a few dark and difficult moments, and for anyone who gives a hoot, the Rooky Wood will put down roots elsewhere since life springs from death etc. etc.!

A BIG thank you to all those who've visited me in my roof-top eyrie and either aided, abetted, interrupted or just stood by and gazed at the photographic processes!

Big Love x John on the horizon x
